Adding and Editing Customers Part 3: Specialty Tabs

You can get to this part of the system by clicking Customers > Customers. Search for and click on the ID Number for the customer you want to edit, or to start a new one, click the +New Customer button. If you're just creating a new customer, from anywhere in the system you can click on the +Create New button at the top and in the drop-list, click Customer.

Edit Customer: Consignment Tab

If you use the Point of Sale, Consignment selling is an option for you, and any Consignment events for contracts held by the customer will display here, along with date stamps for each. For more detail and the ability to view contracts and do payouts, click Modules > Consignment (or POS > Consignment in the older system). For a list of all active contract listings and financial totals, go to Reports > Consignment Summary.

 

Edit Customer: Subscriptions Tab

If you use the optional Subscriptions feature, you will see this tab for your customers. The ID numbers be clickable so you can view the subscription. For now, you have the option to view Subscriptions the customer has completed by toggling the On / Off switch at the top, and all subscriptions are listed with the oldest at the top. Edit Customer: Care Plans Tab

For Jewel360 stores integrated with the Jewelers Mutual® Care Plan system, this tab will be usable, and will list any Care Plans saved for the customer. Here are the features of this tab:

  1. Expand / Collapse - If you need to see details about a Care Plan, click this arrow to open the full view.
  2. Care Plan Status - You can see here if the Care Plan is Active or Expired.
  3. Plan Name - You can see whatever details were entered for the Care Plan name when it was created.
  4. Date Purchased - If you need to see details about the original transaction, clicking the date link will open it in a new browser tab for you.
  5. Expiration Date - This will display the non-editable date at which the Care Plan coverage will end.
  6. Notes - If the Care Plan has or needs any additional information, you can enter that here or edit existing notes.
  7. Return Care Plan - If the customer wishes to return the Care Plan, clicking this button will allow them to do so.

Please Note: If you make any changes to a Care Plan, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom.
